WM mesh cover

Stone wool with a mesh covering is more widely used in industry. After being consolidated with refractory wire, the stone wool is stitched onto the mesh.
The mesh used in this product is galvanised, with hexagonal openings and a one-inch mesh.

The most notable features of this product are its exceptional flexibility and ease of installation. A version of this product can be manufactured to order with mesh on both sides.

WM Group products are manufactured in two variants, WM1 and WM2. The WM2 variant is a specialised product that can be used at higher temperatures, and it is characterised by a darker brown or black colour compared to WM1.

Description

Indications for use:

Stone wool insulation with a mesh covering is used for insulating flat and curved surfaces in industrial applications: large-diameter pipes, furnaces, heat exchangers, turbine exhausts and tall chimneys.

Operating temperature range:

The maximum effective temperature resistance of this product is +800 degrees Celsius. .
